The Audacity of Selective Justice

They shout “justice” with bloodied hands, while turning their backs on the lives destroyed by the movement they protect. They demand accountability from the state, yet fall silent when the violence comes from within their own ranks, or the organizations that espouse armed violence. Meanwhile, a mother grieves in quiet faith, carrying a loss that slogans can never heal.
This is their audacity: to weaponize pain, to moralize selectively, to cry oppression while excusing the machinery that recruited, radicalized, and killed. Justice is not a placard. It is honesty, responsibility, and the courage to condemn violence—no matter who commits it.
